The French Open Semi Finals are going to start shortly, but we wanted to talk about something a little more funny. A Portuguese tennis player named Michelle Larcher de Brito has been complained about lately. She’s only 16, but her playing style really bothers a lot of people. She shouts and screams while she plays. Practically every hit has a squeal connected to it and people love it at first and then they really don’t like it. De Brito didn’t get deep into the French Open, but she was there long enough to encounter a lot of annoyed tennis fans. Her opponent even complained to the umpire that it was distracting her. She said that she wasn’t distracting anyone until she started playing well. She was sad after she left, especially with the booing and whistles she heard while leaving the stadium. Anyway, she’s young and will probably learn better fairly soon!
